The realms of Spirit, Breath, Life ~ Shamanic Endeavors

By thee awesome, Mizz Order of the Good Death herself… link below.

Talking about …Celebrating all aspects of Life … Birth, Sustentation, Death, Rebirth, Continuation…WITH NO FEAR!
In our culture we have such fragmentation and distraction, deep-looking escapes many… that yes, we benefit from living deeply and mindfully. Also, our culture lacking mortality awareness, in alot of ways… and lacking death rituals Like: “In Madagascar, where the whole family disinters the corpse, wraps the bones in new cloth, and dances with the bones to live music.”
I know for for me, Drumming & Singing with some of my friends after my Father’s services was very healing, grounding, and enLIGHTening… but I didn’t do this with *everyone* about at the services, as it’s not ‘custom’ nor even *for* everyone due to affinities, personal blockages & fears, cultural programming…etc….But for me… ritual has really assisted upon my grief process…

Order of the Good Death Article, HERE:

I must say it was great to have the opportunity to interview Scott Mandelker, PhD, for a 3rd interview. This time the focus was on the Self, identity and reality. The interest I had was to clarify a bit more the notions of Self and what specific words like Self-sacrifice, Selfishness, Pride & Humility really mean in our society and in regards of our own healing path.

As usual you will find below a short summary of the themes and questions presented during the interview.

May you be Well and in Peace

Part I

_ What is the Self ?
_ Sense of self as indentity
_ Conscious of Self
_ Notions of Selfishness & Self-sacrifice

Part II

_ Difference between submission & surrender
_ What is pride?
_ Pride as identification in a separate Self
_ Self identification as a limit
_ Persistance of false identity

Andara has come into my Life.

Thankful for this wondrous blog, HeartofMaui!

Heart of Maui

Andara- amberAmber: Golden Brown. Promotes direction of one’s path and choices. Creates mental, emotional strength. It has a calming effect. 2nd, 3rd Chakras.

Andara Ane'laAne’la: Aqua blue. This is the angel stone holding the Field of one’s Intention. Brings the clearest expression of an individual’s Source Consciousness that can be embodied. Allows the possibility of receiving, ascending and integrating potential that the Ane’la Consciousness embodies. The Ane’la opens a stargate of Unlimited Consciousness. The aqua blue color holds an immense high heart frequency in its own right. The frequency is exponentially increased through the infusion of the angelic frequencies Ane’la consciousness elicits. Aligning with the Ane’la in and through the purity of one’s intentions, one’s individual field is catapulted into rarefied Angelic dimensions. 4th, 5th, 8th Chakras

In Honor of Me Pops, his Birthstone, Ruby. He was a REAL-sure-fiery fire element, extrovert, Papa Bear Leo, through and through. His Brother, who is also a Leo, is more the calm, warm, hibernative bear, sweetie Leo-type.
I gifted myself a Hexagonal raw ruby pendant, after my Pops crossed over. I often find Ruby beckons you to place her in your mouth like a Lozenge. Garnets too, are like this for me…

sixdirectionalstarruby“The ruby is quite certainly a wonderful gemstone for bringing fire into your life. For if you like to live your life intensely, but often find it difficult to keep focus, a ruby can help bring clarity and wisdom to your world. Instead of flitting from idea to idea, this gemstone will very well help you choose your most productive paths. With it’s power, this gem will then fire your passions and keep you motivated.

The ruby provides and incredibly power shield against harmful intentions….

Sleeping with a ruby under your pillow will help promote lucid dreaming, allowing your conscious mind to interact with your subconscious mind.

Working with this stone can remove all sense of limitation. Strengthens courage, selfless work, all spiritual endeavors, joy and many leadership qualities. Ruby helps to reduce resentment/burnout when working with others.

The ruby can create a strong sense and means of power within a person; this power should be handled responsibly or it may turn into anger and possessive thoughts.

Ruled by Mars, the gemstone ruby is worn during magical rituals to increase the inherent energies that are available to the magician, or it is placed on the altar beside a red candle to lend energy when feeling depleted or drained.

Meditating with a ruby will activate healing your 1st, or Root/Base Chakra, sending a rejuvenating energy through all of your chakras. Legend tells us to use this gemstone’s fire to light the way through our darkest fears. It is also quite beneficial to the 4th, or Heart Chakra.”

And finally a fav Raw Ruby Pendant of mine, pic below…

The Hexagonal Ruby Pendant which I’ve been wearing, lately, here.
I find the Hexagonal shape is protective (a STOP sign), as I find Ruby to be a protective stone. It has…what I call a ‘Snapdragon Apophasis’ … to say NO in the SELF LOVE, of High Preservation of the what is of the Highest and Best Good way. Whom and what I allow around my temple is GOOD, POSITIVO, AND OF LOVE W/ WISDOM VIBRATION.
Also here, a lovely quartz which I vibe with it’s avaunt-garde setting. Quartz is a nice amplifier and cleansing stone to wear, especially in times that one is off-loading alot of energy (ie, in times of Grief and Loss.)

And, here, also, a Steel 1943 penny, which I found in the garden, one day. A cool ‘Hi there’ from my Pops.
Pennies from heaven. & Sacred Stones of the Momma Earth. Heaven and Earth, as one. Balance.

The Chakras

A Chakra is a center of energy that receives, assimilates, vibrates, and expresses life force energy, as you may or may not know. The word Chakra is Sanskrit for wheel or disc. There are 7 main Chakras. We also understand there is an Earth Star Chakra,  which is the transpersonal energy center which is ‘located approximately three feet below the soles of the feet. The Earth Star Chakra firmly connects the individual’s energies into a harmonious relationship with the planet and anchors the body into the time and space coordinates of the planet. The Earth Star Chakra connects us to the Earth’s Core as well as the Earth’s Electromagnetic Fields.’
There is a also SoulStar Chakra which is the Transpersonal Point which is located about 9 inches above the center of the head. Try this, ‘Place a hand there and a tingling sensation in the palm identifies the center. Its color is clear and is activated by selenite or zircon stones. Through the Transpersonal point, the soul is manifested into matter, it carries the individual’s reasons to incarnate into this lifetime. Other names for this center are “Heavenly Chi”.

Each of the seven musical notes and seven colors corresponding to the Chakras have emotional and physical vibration correlated, to them.

Cymatics: from Greek: κῦμα “wave”) is the study of visible sound and vibration, a subset of modal phenomena. Typically the surface of a plate, diaphragm, or membrane is vibrated, and regions of maximum and minimum displacement are made visible in a thin coating of particles, paste, or liquid.[1] Different patterns emerge in the excitatory medium depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency.

Oh, HELL NO to CFL bulbs. Working on converting in the home to LED, solely… It may take a little bit of time to do this if one is not rolling in dough, due to the muy expensivo world we live in… Plus of course, depending how many lighting fixtures one has, but LED home conversion is not necessarily ridiculously out of price range, such as, for one example $13 for a 9.5W bulb that will probably last 23 years or more… thus…we have before us, a process which is thoroughly and of utmost importance and mindful for our own health and Momma Gaia…

Energy-efficient – An LED bulb that puts out the same amount of light as a 60 Watt incandescent only uses about 6 Watts.
Long-lived – LEDs can last for 30,000-50,000 hours. Presumably that means you could leave an LED on continuously for nearly 6 years.
Durable – LEDs are resistant to shock, extreme changes in temperature (although high heat can shorten their lives), and repeated cycling (turning off and on).
Safe – LEDs bulbs operate at lower temperatures than other bulbs. You can’t even touch a halogen bulb when it’s off for fear of the oils on your fingers heating to a point that it shatters the bulb.
UV free – LEDs don’t emit ultraviolet light, which can damage artwork and which attracts bugs
Interference free – LEDs don’t have ballasts like fluorescents, so they don’t interfere with radio signals
And they make ’em in golden warm hue, not only that white/bluish tint…
